The Industry Institute Interaction Cell of the institue maintains and active liaision with the industries to know their needs & employment possibilities of the degree & Diploma holders. Some industries visit this institute every year to conduct campus interviews and offer appointmaents to the Selected students of final year classes.Selected students are assured of their appointments in the orgaisation where they can join immediately after leaving the institution after final examination. The cell arranges industrial training in summer and winter vacations for the students during the course of their study. This cell also arranges various short term courses in associations with NITTTR, Chandigarh, for updating the knowledge of faculty.

The major achievements of I.I.I. Cell can be summarised as:--
• 4897 students were benefited by industrial training.
• 1703 students gained extra knowledge by expert lectures.
• 725 students benefited by campus interveiws.
• 342 teachers updated their knowledge by attending short term cources.
• 6 teachers updated their knowledge by long term courses.
• 5 Teachers doing M.Tech.
• 2 teachers availed foreign fellowship.

Ludhiana, RECED, Chandigarh, NITCON Chandigarh, Apex Institute of Enterpreneurship and buisness development, Chandigarh.Sh. Bikramjit singh & Sh. Rajiv Sharma, who have passed their diploma in Mech. Engg. from this institute has set uo ther units of manufacturing Lead Acid Batteries and Computer Center respectively with the support of these agencies.
