Computer Graphics

Computer Graphics is one of most exiciting and growing field. It includes algorithms, Data Structure of C language and knowledge of matrices especially. It comprises of software techniques to create, store, modify and represent pictures.

Internet and Webpage designing

It develops competency amongst the students to design professional websites and interactive web pages. It includes configuring computer system to access internet, and various applications of internet like E-mail, FTP, Telnet, Newsgroup and Video conferencing.

Personel Computer Organization

PCs have become a necessity in Industry, Offices and becoming popular in homes too. It gives organization structure and principles of working various other components like visual display, keyboard drives and printers etc. Diploma holders will find employment in computer industry, Repair and maintenance field.

Data Structures & Programming Methodology Lab

Relevant hardware and software are available for algorithm development in all areas of data structures . Emphasis is given on the following matters. Development of recursive as well as non recursive a algorithms involving linked list trees and graphs. Use of pointers for dynamic allocations of storage. Development of classes for some of the data structures using the concept of abstract data types.

Microprocessor and Assembly Language Programming

Students are introduced to 8085 kit. And problems like Addition of 2-8 bit number, sum 8- bit. Addition of 2-8 bit number, sum 16- bit. Subtraction of 2-8 bit number. Find 1s complement of 8 bit number.. Find 1s complement of 16 bit number. Find 2s complement of 8 bit number. Find 2s complement of 16 bit number. Shift an 8 -bit no. by one bit. Shift an 16 -bit no. by one bit. Find Largest of two 8 bit numbers. Find Largest among an array of ten numbers(8-bit) Sum of series of 8 bit numbers.

Installation Maintenance and Troubleshooting of computer network lab

The lab is well equipped with relevant hardware and software that is required to give the students a complete exposure to practicals as per the syllabus of PTU.Students have a hands on session on installation and maintainence of the client and server components of the Network Operating System. The comparison and conversions of various file systems along with their security issues are practically implemented in the laboratory under the guidance of the subject expert. Students learn how to configure and use printer on the network environment and also learns how to handle the Remote Access Service of the Network Operating System.

Network Operating System Lab

The lab is well equipped with relevant hardware and software that is required to give the students a complete exposure to practical as per the syllabus of PTU. Computing Hardware

Department has branded desktop computers having latest configurations to satisfy the computing requirements for various laboratories and project work of students. High end workstations and servers have been made available for special applications like simulators and central computing in the department.

Digital Electronics

Students will be able to design various hardware circuits like Arithmetic circuits, Flip-flops, Counters etc. on bread board after this lab.

Programming Languages Lab

A well equipped lab to write programs in C & C++ using different statements ,Libraries and Functions , Designing Unique Manipulators etc.

Operating System Lab

Well equipped lab for study and Implementation of various commands of Linux and Unix along with case studies and shell programming with various control statements and loops.

Digital Communication

The purpose of this lab is to accustom the students with the basic digital communication techniques and systems.

Computer Fundamentals of Information Technology

Information Technology has great influence on all aspects of life. It is essential that they are exposed to various aspects of Information Technology such as the concept of Information Technology and its scope operating a Computer, Use of MS-Office using internet etc. This exposure will enable the students to enter their profession with confidence, live in a harmonious way and contribute to the productivity.

Data Communication Lab

Hardware experts or people who devlope their interest in Hardware and Networking. Data communication lab is a hardware lab. In this we make students familiar with computer Hardware, Installation and networking concepts. Study of transmission media viz coaxial cables, twisted pairs is done along with practical implementation of straight cable & cross cables. Study of LAN & its topologies like bus, star, ring etc is done. Configuration of IP address and sharing of resources.Also client server networking is done i.e. (study of network operating system Win 2000 server).
